Figures reveal fifth drop in Devon's jobless claimants

There has been another slight fall in the number of people out of work and claiming benefit in Devon.
There were 8,269 claimants in July - 23 fewer than for the previous month, according to the Office of National Statistics.
It accounts for 1.8% of the county's population - lower than the national average of 3.6%.
It is the fifth consecutive month there has been a fall and the year-on-year number is down by more than 10%
Nationally, the claimant count fell by 3,800 in July to 1.46 million.
