Devon fire crew rescue puppy stuck in washing machine

A puppy has been rescued after getting its head stuck in a washing machine at a house in Devon.

A fire crew from Exmouth was called to a property in Thomas Close after the curious pup became trapped in the base of the appliance.

Firefighters used a number of small tools to release the Jack Russell from the washing machine.

The condition of the puppy, which was rescued just after 0800 BST, is not known.
