Two held over raid at Sampsons Farm hotel in Devon

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in an armed robbery at a farmhouse hotel in Devon.

On 8 August a couple and their 12-year-old daughter were tied up by intruders at Sampsons Farm near Newton Abbot.

Armed police officers arrested two men, who are in their mid 20s, in the Broadlands area of Newton Abbot on Friday evening.

The men have been released on bail until October. Police are still appealing for witnesses.
