Paraglider killed in fall in Devon is named

A paraglider who died after falling 150ft (46m) near cliffs in Devon has been named by police.

Christopher Snawdon was paragliding close to a golf course at Staddon Heights, near Plymouth, on 28 August when he fell.

Coastguard teams as well as a land and air ambulances were called, but Mr Snawdon, of Yealmbridge, near Yealmpton, died at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious, police said.
