Estranged husband in court over Barnstaple murders

The estranged husband of one of two women found dead after a house fire in north Devon has appeared in court charged with their murders.

The bodies of Debbie Jones, and Donna St John, both 35, were found in Fortmead Close, Barnstaple, last month.

Neil Langmead, 40, from Barnstaple, who was married to Debbie Jones, has been in hospital for more than two weeks.

Barnstaple magistrates remanded him in custody to appear at Exeter Crown Court on 14 September.
