Girl loses tooth in Plymouth nightclub assault

A teenager suffered facial injuries and lost a tooth in an assault in a Plymouth nightclub.

The 17-year-old girl suffered the injuries after an argument broke out between her and another woman. She was taken to Derriford Hospital.

The incident happened at about 0115 BST on Sunday at Varsity nightclub in Plymouth city centre.

A 21-year-old Plymouth woman was arrested in connection with the assault. She has been released on bail.
