Possible sighting in Hampshire of missing Devon parents

Police are investigating the possible sighting of a Plymouth couple who disappeared five months ago, leaving their 10-year-old daughter behind.

Charlotte Adams, 30, and husband Jake, 38, were last seen at their home in Laity Walk, Southway, on 21 April.

Mr Adams, also known as Amyrose, was going through a sex change at the time.

Following a recent appeal in the Police Gazette, the couple are thought to have been spotted at the New Forest and Hampshire County Show in July.

Goth clothing

DC Louise Steele, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "It's possible the couple are somewhere in the Hampshire area so we are keen to hear from anyone in this area who may have information.

"The person making the reported sighting said he saw Amyrose leaving a female restroom, saying you could clearly see it was a man dressed as a woman and his appearance was drawing a great deal of attention."

Mrs Adams is 5ft (1.52m) tall, with short dyed red hair, nose piercings and "tribal" tattoos on the base of her neck and the side of her left calf.

Mr Adams is 5ft 11in (1.80m) tall, heavily built with brown, shoulder-length hair.

He also has tattoos on the inside of his left forearm and on his right shoulder.

According to police, the couple are known for wearing goth-style clothing.
