Search to identify man found in sea off North Devon

A man whose body was found in the sea near a North Devon beauty spot two days ago has still not been identified by police.

The man, believed to have been between 45 and 55, was found by a member of the public at Spekes Mill Mouth, on 2 October.

Attempts were made to resuscitate him but he was declared dead in hospital.

The man was wearing black walking trousers and a rucksack and walking boots were found nearby.

Spekes Mill Mouth is the site of one of North Devon's highest waterfalls and the area is popular with walkers and climbers.
