Man, 19, charged over stabbing at north Devon campsite

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a campsite in north Devon.

Police were called to Woolacombe Bay Holiday Village in the early hours of Monday following reports that a man had been stabbed in the hand.

The victim, a 22-year-old man from Braunton, was treated in hospital.

A 19-year-old Barnstaple man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is to appear before magistrates at Barnstaple.
