Colin Sherlock pleaded guilty to putting the cat in a microwave oven, tumble drier and freezer
A man from Devon has pleaded guilty to subjecting a cat to mental and physical torture.
Colin Sherlock, 44, from Third Avenue, Dawlish, admitted confining the animal in a microwave oven and a tumble drier and turning them on.
At Torquay Magistrates Court, Sherlock also admitted putting the cat in a freezer and filming it on his mobile phone which Teignmouth RSPCA saw.
The tabby cat, which survived, is now being cared for at a RSPCA shelter.
Sherlock will be sentenced at the court on 5 November.
