Motorcyclist, 76, dies after Devon crash

A 76-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital following an accident in Devon.

Devon and Cornwall Police said Derek Davies, from Taunton in Somerset, was taken to hospital by air ambulance after the crash on the B3261 at Axminster on Friday.

He died on Sunday morning from medical complications related to the collision, a police spokesman said.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to the crash.
