Man and woman bailed in Class A drugs investigation


Two people arrested after class A drugs worth about £200,000 were uncovered in Devon and Cornwall have been released on police bail.

A Newquay man, 53, was stopped on the M5 between Cullompton and Exeter on Wednesday. Following a search of his van about 4kg of drugs were uncovered.

After his arrest police searched a Newquay property where more drugs were found and a woman, 49, was arrested.

Both were held on on suspicion of intent to supply Class A drugs.
