Dawlish man arrested after 'heroin' found in car


A man has been arrested in Devon after police found a substance, believed to be heroin worth about £6,000, in his car.

The man, 32, from Dawlish, was stopped by the Road Crime Unit on the M5 near Cullompton on Thursday evening.

After searching his black VW Golf and discovering the substance, police detained and arrested him.

He was arrested on suspicion of possessing heroin with intent to supply and he remains in custody.
