Motorcycle victim killed in A396 Bampton crash is named


A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Devon has been named.

John Roberts, 28, from Exebridge, collided with a car on the A396 at Bampton on Saturday.

Police praised the member of the public who took instructions over a mobile phone from an ambulance technician in an attempt to resuscitate Mr Roberts.

The occupants of the car were uninjured.
