A woman and her partner have been banned from entering her Devon flat for 10 weeks after complaints about anti-social behaviour.
Sameena Lumber, 20, and Christopher Tribble, 32, were made the subject of a closed order by Torquay Magistrates' Court.
Police said they were called to more than 40 disturbances at the flat in Fouracre Way, Kingsteignton.
The locks have been changed and the property boarded up.
'Very pleased'
Teignbridge District Council had applied for the order.
Councillor Marie Jenkins said: "This Closure Order will have an immediate positive impact on nearby residents' quality of life, and sends a clear message that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated."
The council said anyone removed from their home under the powers were considered "intentionally homeless" and would not be eligible for help finding other housing within the district.
Supt James Meakin, of Devon and Cornwall Police, said: "The actions of these individuals have had a real impact on the lives of local people and I'm very pleased that we have responded to resolve the problem."
