Lilah was rescued by an inshore lifeboat
A dog was rescued from an isolated cove after chasing seagulls over rocks in Devon.
English springer spaniel Lilah became trapped on a walk with owners Sue and David Hallum in Start Bay, south Devon on Christmas Day.
Lilah had scrambled over rocks to the inaccessible Waterfall Cove and could not return by land, so had to be rescued from the sea.
The owners raised the alarm and a crew from Dart RNLI went to the rescue.
Lilah hopped into the inshore lifeboat and was reunited with her grateful owners after a four minute boat trip.
