Plymouth stabbing arrest woman released on bail

A woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a stabbing in Plymouth has been released by police.

A 40-year-old man was wounded in the chest during the incident at a property in the Stoke area of the city at about 0630 GMT on Sunday.

He was taken to Derriford Hospital and was described as being in a stable condition.

The arrested 47-year-old was released on bail until February, police said.
