A man's body has been found in north Devon.

A coastguard rescue team made the discovery in Hartland Quay on Friday afternoon.

Police said that the body had not been formally identified and investigations into the incident were being carried out.

The discovery follows an air and sea search in the area for a 36-year-old man who went missing from his home in Hartland on Thursday evening.
