Two Guernsey men charged over attempted drug import

Two men from Guernsey have been charged with attempting to import a commercial quantity of drugs into the island.

The men were arrested during an operation led by Guernsey's Border Agency on Saturday afternoon.

The Border Agency said the drug in question was believed to be cannabis resin.

The men are due to appear before the next available court hearing, the agency said.
