Roborough horse box crash badly injures cyclist

A cyclist has suffered broken bones and cuts to his body in a collision involving a horse box.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the accident happened on the A386 at Roborough, near Plymouth, just before midday.

The cyclist, a 47-year-old man, is being treated at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

Police would like to speak to the driver of the vehicle towing the horse box and any other witnesses.
