Three men charged after assault in Exeter

Three men have been charged with causing grievous bodily harm after a man was assaulted in Exeter.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 BST on Saturday in the Fore Street area of the city centre.

The victim was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

A 29-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, both from Exeter, and a 23-year-old man from London have been charged.
