Plymouth women treated after fire

Two people have been treated by paramedics following a fire at a property in Devon.

Devon Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property on Octagon Street in Plymouth at about 05:00 GMT.

Twelve firefighters were involved in tackling the fire after it was reported that people were trapped inside.

Two women were found outside the property and treated for smoke inhalation. DFRS said the cause of the fire was being investigated.
