Devon's Petroc College to lose 30 staff
About 30 jobs are to go at a college in Devon, it has been revealed.
Petroc College said the posts, which will be lost at its Barnstaple and Tiverton campuses, were down to government funding cuts.
The college, which was formed in 2008 by the merger of North Devon College and East Devon College, has about 1,000 staff and 20,000 students.
Managers added that, despite the cuts, they were committed to delivering high-quality education.
The college has not identified what departments will be affected but said staff were being consulted.
