Christians Against Poverty open Plymouth debt centre

A charity offering financial advice to those in debt has opened a second centre in Plymouth due to high demand.

Christians Against Poverty said it was helping people in the city who were on very tight budgets.

Centre manager Patrick Down said the "demand was phenomenal" and people had already booked appointments at the new centre during June and July.

The Diocese of Exeter has funded the project which is based in St Budeaux Parish Church.
