A luxury hotel based in a 500-year-old grade I listed building in south Devon has gone into administration.

Kitley House Hotel in Yealmpton was said to have "suffered greatly from the downturn in the leisure industry".

Administrators Begbies Traynor said the hotel would continue to trade and it was looking for a buyer.
