Sunshine is 'icing on cake' for Royal Cornwall Show
Fine weather at the Royal Cornwall Show has been "the icing on the cake", said organisers.
The average temperature at the three-day agricultural show at Wadebridge showground has been 20C.
Last year 1,000 sheep had to be moved to safety amid gales and driving rain and there was a drop in visitor numbers.
The event features animals, flower shows, horse displays, vintage vehicles and more than 1,000 trade stands.
Chris Riddle, the show's secretary, said: "We've had a wonderful forecast all the way through. The weather has been the icing on the cake.
"People have been ready for a bit of fun and laughter... they've had it in these three days."
The show, which is organised by the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, has been running since 1960.
