A man has been charged with causing the death by careless or inconsiderate driving of a 10-year-old boy who was knocked down.

Cameron Trivett, 24, of Mill Street, Crediton, is also accused of failing to stop after a road traffic collision.

Samuel Crocker, from Crediton, Devon died in hospital on Saturday after he was hit by a white van in the town on a road known as Threshers.
