Cyclist killed in Dorset crash identified

A cyclist who was killed in a crash on a Dorset road has been identified.

Ralph Manicom, 64, was involved in a collision with a car in Warmwell Road, Crossways, near Dorchester, just before midnight on Thursday.

Mr Manicom, of Crossways, was treated by paramedics at the scene but later died at Dorset County Hospital.

The car driver, aged in her 30s, was arrested and questioned by police as part of the investigation. Roads were closed for several hours.

An inquest into Mr Manicom's death was opened and adjourned in Blandford on Tuesday.
