Youths set fire to Turbary Common as crews fight flames

A gang of youths set fire to a local nature reserve as firefighters tackled more flames nearby.

Crews were called to Turbary Common, Bournemouth, at about 2320 BST on Sunday after receiving up to 45 calls from residents.

As they fought the heath fire another blaze broke out at a nearby children's play area, the fire service said.

A group of teenagers was later spotted setting fire to more of the land and firefighters alerted the police.
