Motorcyclist killed in crash with van in Corfe Mullen

A motorcyclist has died in a collision with a van in Dorset.

The accident happened at the junction of Wareham Road and Waterloo Road in Corfe Mullen, north of Poole, on Friday morning.

The rider is thought to be a 55-year-old man from the Wimborne area, a Dorset Police spokeswoman said.

Roads near the crash scene were closed for several hours and officers have appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them.
