A farmhouse in Dorset has been partly destroyed by fire.

Crews were called to Armswell farm in Plush, near Dorchester, on Monday afternoon.

More than 40 firefighters tackled the fire, which started in a bedroom and destroyed much of the first floor and damaged the rest of the house.

Nobody was hurt. The cause of the fire is still unknown and an investigation is under way, a spokeswoman for Dorset fire service said.
