Two children on dinghies saved in Swanage sea rescue

Two children playing on inflatable dinghies were pulled to safety after being blown out to sea off the Dorset coast.

The coastguard was called at about 1115 BST on Tuesday to Swanage seafront.

The boy and girl were pulled to safety by a fishing boat and the Swanage Water Taxi which also went to the scene.

A spokeswoman warned parents of the dangers of inflatable dinghies at sea, as they should only be used under adult supervision.
