Motorcyclist dies in hospital after Martinstown crash

An 84-year-old motorcyclist has died in hospital four days after he was seriously hurt in a crash in Dorset.
The man, from Wales, was riding through Martinstown near Dorchester when he struck a kerb and was thrown off his bike on Sunday afternoon.
He was taken to Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester with life-threatening injuries.
Nobody else was thought to have been involved in the accident, police said. The road was shut for nearly two hours.
