Crews tackle large hay barn fire in Puncknowle

Firefighters have spent the night tackling a large barn fire in west Dorset.

Crews were called to Hazel Lane in Puncknowle at about 2130 BST on Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said 300 large bales of hay and the barn itself were destroyed but nobody was hurt.

The fire was allowed to burn out under supervision and one crew remained at the scene on Wednesday morning.
