Dorset crime reduction meeting held online

A crime reduction meeting in Dorset is to be broadcast on the internet to allow more people to take part.

Dorset Community Safety Partnership, which includes councils and the police, is to hold its meeting on Wednesday between 1600 GMT and 1800 GMT.

The discussion will take place at the Dorford Centre in Dorchester but residents will also be able to log on and take part from home.

Participants will be able to watch the meeting live and ask questions.

Residents can also email or post questions in advance.

The meeting, to discuss ways of reducing crime, is open to anyone from the Dorset County Council area - Christchurch, East Dorset, North Dorset, Purbeck, West Dorset and Weymouth & Portland.

Users can log on via a virtual meeting page on the Dorset County Council website.
