A sex attacker who targeted a 46-year-old woman in a Dorset town is being hunted by police.

The woman, from Poole, was grabbed in Redhoave Road, Canford Heath, during the early hours of 27 November, police said.

Her attacker was wearing a lime-green fleece jacket with a yellow stripe along the sleeves. He also wore a hood.

"The victim has been left extremely distressed," a spokeswoman said. Police are appealing for witnesses.

Det Con Martha Brehmer, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: "The victim could hear voices nearby when the incident happened.

"Any information, no matter how insignificant you might consider it to be, may help me with this investigation."
