Dorset residents urged to recycle Christmas trees
- Published
A Christmas tree collection service is being offered to Dorset residents.
East Dorset Council will collect trees left out with brown bins any time after Christmas Day in the areas covered by that type of refuse scheme.
For people not covered by the brown bin scheme a one-off collection has been arranged on 10 January.
Trees, which will be used for composting, should be placed in a visible location, within 3m (9.8ft) of the public highway.
