Two men charged over Weymouth stab attack

Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in an attack in a Dorset seaside town.

The 56-year-old suffered knife wounds after being assaulted in Ranelagh Road, Weymouth, on Saturday evening.

Two men, aged 31 and 23, were arrested and later charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. They will appear before magistrates on Wednesday.

The attacked man remains in Dorset County Hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.
