Shoppers in Dorset are being warned to be on their guard after a cash machine was targeted by suspected fraudsters.

Police were called to Asda in Newstead Road, Weymouth, after store workers discovered a device fitted to one of the card machines just before 0800 GMT.

The device has been sent off for forensic tests.

Dorset Police said it did not know how many people had been affected but urged customers to contact officers if they suspected they had been.
