Armed police have made a number of arrests after a total of eight guns and ammunition was found at a Bournemouth nature reserve.
The first gun, an unloaded shotgun, was found by a dog walker on Kinson Common last Friday.
A further seven guns were discovered by officers over the weekend.
A number of arrests were made on Tuesday evening in the Redhill area of Bournemouth and addresses searched as part of the inquiry, police said.
Officers are yet to release details of those arrested.
