Dorset crews tackle house fire

Around 35 firefighters have tackled a severe fire overnight at a property in a Dorset town.

Crews from across Bournemouth and Poole spent more than two hours fighting the blaze at the derelict house in Sandringham Road, Parkstone.

The roof of the building was badly damaged after the fire started at about 2240 BST on Tuesday.

The cause of the fire is believed to be arson and an investigation has begun by fire service and police.
