A weather warning for ice across Dorset has been lifted as temperatures rise above freezing across the county.

Temperatures dipped to -7C over the weekend leading to a yellow weather alert for ice with motorists urged to take extra care.

But the Met Office said it could reach 7C on Monday.

Dorset County Council said its fleet of 30 gritting vehicles had been carrying out regular county-wide gritting runs during the recent cold spell.
