Murder arrests after Dorset woodland search
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after human remains were discovered in a Dorset wood.
Police said they were unable to identify the body discovered in Lytchett Matravers but the remains were found during their investigation into the disappearance of Geoffrey Reed.
The 57-year-old Bournemouth man has not been seen since 7 June.
A 25-year-old man from Bournemouth and two men, 21 and 32, both of no fixed abode, remain in custody.
Earlier police said they had sealed off an area of Lytchett Matravers woodland as part of their investigation into the disappearance of Mr Reed, whose disappearance was described as "completely out of character".
