An elderly couple's car plunged over the edge of a supermarket multi-storey car park - but they escaped with only minor injuries.

The Kia Ceed crashed through a barrier on the first floor of the car park at Tesco in Ferndown, Dorset, just after 15:00 BST.

Two fire crews cut the roof from the car where it landed on to the ground floor of the car park in Penny's Walk.

The man and the woman were taken to nearby Poole Hospital for treatment.
