Woman airlifted after being stabbed in Bournemouth

A woman has been airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries after being stabbed in Bournemouth.

The victim, who is in her 30s, was discovered in the Boscombe area of the town shortly before 16:15 BST, Dorset Police said.

She has been taken to Southampton General Hospital.

Police said the woman was found in Walpole Road but it was not clear where the attack took place. No arrests have been made.

Officers are appealing for information.
