Bournemouth man charged with rape of boy in 1980s

A Bournemouth man has been charged with raping a boy under the age of 13 during the 1980s.

Peter Hamilton-Harvey, now 55, was living in the Dorset town and working as a scoutmaster at the time.

He has been charged with the offence of rape, four counts of gross indecency and five of indecent assault after the alleged victim came forward in August.

He is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates' Court on 13 January.
