Icy conditions disrupt train and road travel in Dorset

Icy conditions have caused disruption to travel on trains and roads in Dorset after low temperatures overnight.

South West Trains suspended services between Bournemouth and Weymouth because of icy rails until about 13:00 GMT and warned of delays.

The A35 in Upton was closed between the Bakers Arms Roundabout and the Fire Station Roundabout because of ice, but reopened at about 11:00.

A Met Office weather warning for snow and ice in Dorset is still in force.
