Witchampton fatal biplane crash: Jury discharged in case

The jury has been discharged in the trial of a pilot accused of the manslaughter of his passenger who died when his Tiger Moth aircraft crashed.

Scott Hoyle, 48, of Charborough Road, Poole, Dorset, is to face a retrial at Winchester Crown Court on 13 April.

He denies causing the accident which killed 26-year-old Orlando Rogers from Poole on 15 May 2011 at Compton Abbas airfield in north Dorset.

The jury was discharged on Tuesday.
