A takeaway customer who was annoyed that a delivery driver did not have change was among the calls handled by Dorset Police in a 24-hour period.
They were highlighted on the force's Twitter account as part of its "tweetathon" which began on Friday.
It aimed to show the variety and volume of calls the service receives.
The force said there were 338 emergency calls, and 943 non-emergencies. Others included someone worried about bags blowing in the road.
