Boy, 15, released without charge after rape arrest

A 15-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of raping a 17-year-old girl in Dorset has been released without charge.

Bristol Road, Sherborne, was cordoned off at the junction of the A30 following reports of a sex attack in the street on Tuesday night.

A Dorset Police spokesman said the boy had been released "following extensive enquiries".

He said: "Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident."
